OWASP BeNeLux 2010

I just got back from Holland where I was invited to participate in the annual OWASP BeNeLux conference with a talk on Clickjacking.

For the second year, the OWASP chapters of Holland, Belgium and Luxembourg co-organized an event with the intent to bring together IT-Security experts from academia and industry to discuss web security. This year, the event was hosted by the Fontys Hogeschool of Eindhoven.

In my talk, I presented a solution we designed for studying the prevalence of clickjacking on the Internet, and for detecting possible malicious pages in an automated fashion. In fact, Clickjacking has been receiving wide media coverage. However, it’s been unclear to what extent it is being used by attackers in the wild, and how significant the attack is for the security of Internet users.

For more information, I refer you to Xavier’s blog on the event.
